SEGA just announced that a physical release of Sonic Mania is on the way, and it’ll feature new content. Called Sonic Mania Plus, the new version will feature two new playable characters in the form of Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. Additionally, there’ll be a new “Encore Mode” that adds remixed zones, and players will be able to compete in four-player multiplayer. The enhanced physical release will release in Summer 2018. In addition to the new characters, the physical release will also come with a holographic slip cover, a reversible SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive sleeve, and a 32-page Sonic Mania art book. It looks to be quite the lovingly crafted release. Sake man, i just cracked the pc version a few weeks ago! Need to crack this one now!
Makes u wonder if those people who bought the first can't just get a dlc rather than buy the whole thing again!
Good game tho i enjoyed it!

My grandfather is a truly Nintendo fan, he bought and still own Sweden's second first sold NES in Sweden but he was and is a fan of SEGA systems. He's around 70/75 year old.
You can never be old enough for something you enjoy much. But my dad is a dictated (only) Nintendo fan. He's around 45/50. I'm around 20/25.
Just mentioning that age and games having nothing to do with it. Just saying.

It was six years ago I met her so I'm not sure if she's still living. She started to play when she was 86 year old. Swedish television did a reportage about her; "The World's oldest Nintendo player?" She lived in the middle of Sweden back then. I'm also sorry for my off topic. |

I think the only time I've bought a few games twice is for a different system. he get more than just the case, he get to own the game, digital is more like a one time buy rental and you dont own forever.. |

It's still on your console though soooo....not really.  I get that it's nice to have a good looking case and all, but at the end of the day I don't mind the odd digital owned game here and there. Especially on PS4, you can delete them but still in your library to re download at any time.  |

At the moment the only games I've deleted on PS4 that are digital is MW remastered, because I'm done with that, Injustice 2, done with that, Life is Strange, done with that, Saints Row Gat Out of Hell, didn't finish that but i'm done with that for me. So i'm fine with that.

I agree with Ron about uploading games versus "real" games that you buy in stores.
I haven't bought many via download because I see the possibility if the companies deleting or shutting down the services. I see now Nintendo shutting down services after services so from now on I avoiding the download games that you pay for.
I getting the feeling like my downloaded games isn't my games like the games I bought in the store. Also I missing the possibility of change the game to an another system. You can't that with Nintendo systems, I'm unsure if you can that with other game systems.
