It’s been quite some time since we heard about Nintendo Switch’s fabled paid-online service. Although information on Nintendo Switch Online has been around since the system’s reveal. Following a delay earlier last year, Nintendo has now officially revealed that Nintendo Switch Online will be available in September 2018. source

Hey, we have to pay for things we want I guess. Especially when there’s a cost involved. That’s the way of life. I don’t see £20 as greedy particularly. Just my opinion.

i don't think it's greed at all when you have to pay for online on other systems already. But of course, the actual service we get will have to match whatever price we are expected to pay. It can't be as much as PSN or Live. I'd also be content with £20 a year Andy.

I didn´t see that price in the link above. If that is the actual price per year I wouldn´t complain, guess I´ll take my complaining back.

I save my complaints until we know what the price will be more certain. I still don´t own a switch anyway so maybe I just should shut up and buy one .

Okay, I guess that explains why Nintendo drop Miitomo down the toilet. I don't own Switch but it seems to be interesting to me. So from now on then WiiU and later on 3DS is dropping their online services, we must need Twitter or Facebook. And pay for the services. Well, for PC games you pay for submissions to the online services, not strange for me that Nintendo follow the big road. I hoping that Nintendo lower the prices after that. Here in Sweden you pay almost £70 for a Switch game. And hope that Bergsala start the service for Scandinavian users.

Yeah, I know that, Ron. Maybe Kimi-san is looking for the big new highway instead of the old road that Satoru and Hiroshi always walked. Anyway, the only way to find out what happens is to wait for the May 9th.

What´s the thing with this Nintendo Switch online chat mobile app...thing ? I mean why use a phone/tablet to chat with others in-game or what´s it for. Hadn´t it been easier to use an internal SIM-card in the switch to create a ninty-account and chat through it directly...just a thought...
