The thing that worries me is the amount of noise ubisoft are making about it. It was the same with wiiu and then they pretty much dropped it like a bad habit after zombiiu bombed. All the hype better be true or expectations become overly inflated and ultimately kill the console/device at launch.

The Nintendo NX will launch with at least 4 first party games, including a Mario game, according to a new rumor that comes from a retailer with access to some marketing and promotional materials.

Of the four launch titles, we already know one: Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Another title is said to be a Mario game, but no specifics were given.

According to the rumor, one of the promotional posters has the tag line “Interact with your game on the go”, and that it is indeed a mobile/home console hybrid that runs on cartridges.

The rumor also says that retailers should receive demo units in February.

And they have a price: $299, with a bundle of sorts available for $399.

I've been waiting on this. Major retailers were all invited to Nintendo Europe in Germany a couple of weeks ago and I thought that it would involve promotional materials and such.
I think it confirms all that we know to be consistent with the rumours that have been going round and ultimately kills the reveal now but i think we can all agree, i don't really care anymore about the kit itself, any console will live or die by its games.
