Ah the good ol days of blowing a cart when it didn't work to fix it are back!
Aren't sd cards the evolution of cartridges tho? Same idea physically and sd cards are mighty big in gb's these days.

So incisive. The chips are 'modern'. Well that's good, if they were using some left overs from the GameCube there may be problems ahead.
It won't be the most powerful - hmm, Ninty haven't gone for the arms race in a while, I'd be more surprised if it did out power the PS4K-Neo-Ultra thingy.

I have to say although i would prefer Nintendo to go down the power route as it will make third party releases easier i am very skeptical that they will. In the past Nintendo has packaged last gen tech and sold it at a premium price (At least initially) My belief is that this wont fly anymore imo.

Nintendo ' might ' not need power but they need the same architect as modern consoles, without that Nintendo players wont be playing 3RD party games......period. Which is unacceptable in 2017. A big chunk of die hard N fans are missing out. So either buy a PS5 or Xbox 2 AND an NX to get the very best of both worlds. What a hobby eh it's not cheap but them chips better taste great  |

I am still considering getting a PS4 around Christmas. I am waiting to see what the video game landscape looks like after E3. Sorry to say if Nintendo haven't told us enough about NX for me to really want it by then i will probably get a PS4 or XBOXONE and may not get NX for a few years till i can afford it. At the moment i really have nothing to look forward to and no games i am truly exited for. I cant spend the best part of a year living off of rumor and hope that NX will be worth the wait.

Basically i am hoping some worthwhile stuff will be announced during/around E3 which will help me decide. Plus if i do go for PS4 then i will need to cancel all my pre orders for Nintendo games including Tokyo Mirage Sessions and kirby as that money will need to go towards the ps4. Was also hoping Sony would announce either a price cut for the regular ps4 or a ps4 slim.

These definitely sound fake. Nintendo are not known for jumping on the band wagon also you couldn't implement something so integral so quickly.

That's one of my worries Reddwarf! i am very concerned that NX will be some kind of cloud based game library. which allows streaming on a number of devices.

Zockrates Laboratories has announced an upcoming VR game “Riverside” for the Occulus Rift and the NX. So this pretty much seems to confirm that the NX will have a VR type of device...
