Drastic Actions (aka Tim Miller), an engineer, began work the other day on an archiver designed to trawl the Miiverse and save it before it’s lost forever. It’s early days yet, with not much saved, but others are now joining in to help out, forming what’s becoming known as Archive Team.
“To me, and I think would go to the rest of Archive Team, it’s a part of history and culture,” Miller told in an interview. “And saving that for future generations is important. While it may be a failed social network for Nintendo, it’s still apart of our culture in some way.”
