So the overall feeling is underwhelming? I got upto watch it but the thing wouldn't play for me. Missed the first 15mins and gave up. Will watch it 2moro once I've moved into my new flat.

Mario and Zelda look phenomenal, watch those trailers. But the rest...yeah, they have left a lot of questions and what even is the launch line up? Zelda and a couple of motion control party games? |

I want to see the full launch lineup, I get the feeling there's more to be said on that and probably a direct or two before the launch.
Note there's a Direct on Fire Emblem Warriors next week.
The concept is Switch I like. Old games redone (Splatoon 2, MK8 Deluxe, Fast Racing, Lego City, Rayman) and a lack of NEW launch games so far is not so good.

For me the major problems were:
Lack of clear launch lineup
Console Price £280!
Game price £60
Payed online extras suck!
Positives Zeld, Super Mario & maybe Splatoon. Also like the look of the new Bomberman.

Doug the games are listed as £50 on Game Collection.
£280 for the fact it's a hand held hybrid combo is more than I thought but doesn't count me out thanks to the duel purpose.
No pack in game (that we know of) at that price though is weak. Paid online just puts them on par with the other two (unless I missed something on that?)

Yeah but unless the online sub price is low the only for a month nes/snes game is a joke. Will check out game collection. and to be honest the hybrid thing isnt that special all you really are buyong is a handheld as all the dock does is put it on the tv.

I like the fact it's pretty much home console quality that can go handheld. I've not had a handheld console since the GameGear!!
I've definitely missed the whole thing about NES/SNES games in the info. They're lending them to you for a month??

Sadly Ron Europes one only comes with the soundtrack and sword. If you want that version you will need to buy the american one. andyu basicaly yes! |

I've now read and digested quite a bit of info. In summary I'd be a lot happier if 1-2 Switch was a pack in but I don't think the price for the console is THAT bad. What is bad is the price of accessories! To play 2 player game of Arms you need the Switch (£280), the game (£40) and another set of Joy-Con (£70!). So in total just under £400!! And a pro controller is £60! You can easily spend £500 just getting a game or two and a spare controller!
