so what to say after the nintendo switch presentation?... i did go in and hoped really they would surprise me, but it looks like nintendo havent learned a thing from the wiiu. its like they go one step forward and two steps back into the future. lets hope at least there is a new animal crossing, and that it is damn good, then i will pick up a switch in a year or two after a price drop.

So just saw the presentation. Not overly impressed especially lack of launch titles other than Zelda. Mario looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet though! I like the look of Splatoon 2 but i am concerned they are using the originals engine and thus the game may never escape the "been there done that" feel i got from the trailer. Kind of lost interest in RPG's recently and sadly Nintendo has not! Not overly exited but i know folks who will be. MK8 is a huge disappointment cant believe they expect me to pay full price for a handful of new characters, courses and battle mode. Also of not is the price is a little expensive as are the games.

dont forget from now on its pay2play on nintendo too. there was talk of if you want to chat you will have some mobile app outside of the switch to do that(hallo skype is free!), also you are given 30 year old nes and snes game to play for one month then they will take it away. it just sound awkward, no words about price but there is talk about £75 a year(if not that was just someone trolling)... i just wonder what will happen to miiverse, will that be put in the pay wall too?.. there is a lot to read on www.eurogamer.net/ now... |
