Even though Shin'en Multimedia swore none was coming 8 new tracks arrive on September 30th! As well as a physical retail release in Europe.
UPDATE: Nintendo everything was wrong the DLC is not free.

Doug, why do you say possibly free? I would have fully expected this to be paid DLC, justifying a slightly higher priced disc version. Could be wrong though, often am!

Yeah that was because Nintendo Everything's original article stated it was free to those who owned the game. its since been revealed that was false.

Ahhh I did wonder. For the amount unit of extra tracks (8) and vehicles (10) I'm expecting to have to pay about...erm...£7??

I was trying to remember how much the game itself is. No idea! It's an extra 50% track wise and doubles the vehicles(?)

According to Nintendo Life the game is only £11! So £5 ish for the DLC is not that crazy!
