It's so easy to interpret these things wrongly! Just PR talk I reckon.

Although i agree that 'it's all about the games' and 'all about the content' over power and specs etc, Nintendo have the capacity, the knowhow and the money to have both! It would be really great to see them pull of something beyond spectacular with the NX

The thing is, if it's all about the games, the best way to get lots of high quality ones is to build a system with 'decent' (not necessarily world beating) specs that's simple to develop on. Otherwise the number of quality experiences is going to be poor. Again.

andyu yeah exactly, that's what i was thinking too. Doesn't have to be immense but something as powerful as current gen hardware would do wonders for nintendo

A hint of innovation that could be take it or leave it for some games (waggle is not compulsory) so there's no additional development necessary. What a utopia!!!

I agree with Ninty it isn't about the specs. BUT you do need a console of the same build as the competition or yet again you will starve the fans of some amazing 3rd party games. Unless most adults buy both? or are casual and mainly bought it for their children. I had high hopes for the Wii U and in the end I got rid of it as it really does starve those of us who can only afford one box in the living room, there just wasn't enough games for me, yes for me.

Fair enough Mr Dwarf. For me it's had enough games to keep me going but the more I look at the 3rd party games available on the other two boxes the more I want my next console to offer that choice or at least a good proportion of it.

Watch we will get lots of third party at reveal I believe the 3rd party developers signed something with Nintendo that they can't talk about there game coming to nx. I remember this racing game that got announced not to long ago with the nx logo and Nintendo made them remove it.
