It was ok all things considered.
I'm surprised there wasn't a direct at all when they had the games for it in the end. 30+ min and call it a day, more in the treehouse sections. Now it was just the dumbest way ever to reveal a new Mario Party game etc...

All I really cared about was seeing Zelda so for me it was great. Wouldn't of minded some new Mario Kart 8 DLC though.

Same here Jo. Without Zelda it would have been a disaster. Some of those treehouse sections were so amateurish. Especially the Pokemon one.

It could all have been a lot worse. The new Zelda looks amazing, lots of changes to mix up the format. As for the rest, well it was better than the original plan of nothing else. Still doesn't disguise that they are putting all their eggs in the NX basket as far as new games go though.
I wanted MK8 DLC too!!

Yeah i am really pissed at Nintendo for that tweet. Hopefully it will turn into something soon but i am starting to think it was just Nintendo doing social media wrong again.

I thought it was good for what it was. I'm fairly easily pleased when it involves things I like,  . However, having watched all the press conferences, I would rank them in the following... 1. Microsoft (would say sony but the hardware announcements got it for me) 2. Sony 3. Ubisoft (they just always go all out every year, and considering they're not a console maker, they always have lots and diverse games to show off. The presenter really brings the energy to, unlike the sony presenters, ) 4. EA 5. Nintendo 6. Bethesda (only because pokemon and zelda appeal to me more than bethesda games) Though, I have to say, all presentations had games that I'm really interested in getting. |
