Discussion: What would you like from NX?

firstly i want bc with the wiiu game discs and wiiu controllers, and secondly it must be as powerful as the ps4.5 (or whatever that gonna be). with 4k coming for full force in the upcoming years, it must have support for it at least. the vr that is hot topic all over the internet, they can just forget i think, its just to early in my opinion.

but with all that said we know nothing, so its all wishful tinkering, hopefully nintendo will have something to reveal soon...

It has to have the power of at least the other two consoles to attract the 3rd parties. They aren't going to bother downgrading their games for a Nintendo console.
It has to have the power to support an excellent and speedy intuitive OS where you can record video and share screenshots instantly with the touch of a button. (I'm sure we've all been in the middle of an epic game, thought "wow this scene looks amazing, I want to share!" The wait time to pause your game and launch miiverse interrupts the flow of your adventure.)

I want to see an online service that matches Xbox live.
If miiverse doesn't stick around, I'd at least like to see an activity feed. I would like achievements. I'm no achievement whore but there is something satisfying about receiving them. Quick ways to send messages to friends and party chat. I'm a bit shy but there should be the option.

Backwards compatibility and a full virtual console library that contains every classic game already released on Wii and Wii U VC. No drip feed of the same games rereleased again for NX and charging us for it. Add Gamecube games.

A comfortable standard controller like the Gamecube pad. The fact they released Gamecube pad support for Smash shows Nintendo also must consider it highly.
A return of great franchises like F-Zero, Wave Race and Metroid. Give the fans what they want.

Basically I'd like a cross between a Gamecube and an Xbox One!

this year e3 show is going to be a interesting one, that is for sure..

Nintendo are all about innovation,if they combine this with a kick ass powerhouse of a console they cant fail! Can they?

Power seems to be the order of the day but it's gotta get the big devs on board no matter what. The one thing that Nintendo offers that no one else has are great ip's and games with them, couple that with the games everyone wants on the other 2 kits and u gotta have a winner! Haters only hate Nintendo coz they can't get Nintendo games on them consoles! XD

Nintendo always manage to stand out different good or bad but i do fear that some sort of gimmick, the 'no one else could conceive of this' idea is blinding them. Hopefully they really have a system that will make people get excited in gaming again, the new and the old.

I'd love to see back compat with wiiu, vc to continue but with wii and gamecube titles available at launch with all of the wii vc catalogue (vc and wiiware). This cannot be the snail pace release crap wiiu suffered from.

Home media playback. Dvd, usb or sd, wireless sync. Don't pound the punanni pavement care, there's no excuses for not having this available these days. Pref with dolby 5.1

No bullshit promises. See wiiutv. I said before launch it was never gonna happen in this country and i was proved right. Be realistic about what is available in every region. Talking of regions...... Haha! ;o)
