Okay, not technically an emulator but a faithful recreation of classic games in a classic series.
Sweet little adventure game from the 8 bit era that had you traverse an area/world solving puzzles and trying to find items to help you progress, save the day and The Yolkfolk from the evil wizard Zaks!
Both of these remakes are very accurate to the original games on C64, ZX81, Amiga ect. created by the Oliver Twins and published by Codemasters. (Remember them??) These remakes are courtesy of Peter Teal over at Dizzy Fansite.
I spent loads of time egg-sploring(!) Dizzy games as a kid and they are a nice little break from the norm, not too taxing but enough content to wind down an hour or so but I pick these two as my favs.
To play, just download the zip, run the little installer and then choose if u wanna play by keyboard or pad.

The Evil Wizard ZAKS' is back! Like all Evil Wizards he had made certain arrangements against his premature demise... He has exacted a terrible revenge by transporting the YOLKFOLK to a strange Fairy-Tale World and casting evil spells on them to imprison them there forever.
Dizzy must free the SIX Yolkfolk by breaking the spells and then destroy ZAKS once and for all before he can return home.

DIZZY & DAISY strolled through the enchanted forest without a care in the world... BUT SUDDENLY the Evil King's troll seized poor Daisy!
She was sent to Wizard Weird's Tallest Tower, while Dizzy was dragged away and thrown into the deepest, darkest, dankest, of the King's Dungeons in the bowels of Fantasy World.
DIZZY was frightened! Who knew what fate awaited him... and he still hadn't done this week's homework! But then he remembered that he had a fresh green apple that he had planned to give to his teacher to escape detention, and he cheered up. And there was some bread and water on the table! A cunning plan began to brew in his mind...
But DIZZY can't do everything on his own... you must help him!
