Harri kinda war themed I was skydiving with friends and landed on an island full of pirates. Got captured then escaped, one friend died and I have to save the rest of them and get off the island ( hopefully )

Mostly I've been playing Pokemon Yellow and TPHD. Haven't made much progress in Pokemon - as a kid I used to just use Pikachu or Cyndaquil all the time and the rest would be severely underleveled but now I'm trying to keep it more balanced. I'm going to want the three starters but then I'll also want Pikachu and Butterfree and Mankey. I don't remember if you can catch a Meowth in this one.
As for TPHD, after much thought I've decided to go against going shieldless unfortunately. I managed to do fine in the Gamecube version but doing a 3 heart run here on hero mode seems a bit trickier. I had my first "soft" death(used a fairy to survive) and it was pretty dumb - at the first portal in Eldin. Turns out the portal monster things do two hearts worth of damage. And it seems fairies will be hard to come by, more so than in other games, so I may just have to keep buying milk.
It's good there are a few less tears to collect but I still think it's boring. I liked the idea so much better in Skyward Sword. Granted it was for an entirely different purpose there, testing your knowledge of each area, whereas here it's an introduction to exploring, but I just feel a lot of areas in TP aren't all that intricate or complex enough to warrant such design. I'd rather it be straight storytelling than some cutscenes in the middle of a filler hunt.

Ron I get the impression you like your new gadget....what the hell is it though ( pstv? ) its basically a playstation vita without a screen and sticks. that you connect to the tv, use your ps3/ps4 controller with and hook up with a wired connection for better online.. then you can play 90% of the psvita games on the big screen, its not for everyone thou... i got it cheap and bought it for a few games that is not released for the ps3/ps4. so i could play them on my big tv instead of my psvita screen. |

Started a game called Oxenfree tonight. Pretty much gone in blind, just knew it were a story driven game with a bit of mystery. I like that, intriguing story and not too taxing gameplay where you choose your own dialogue. Getting really weird now and creeping me out! Good stuff.   |

Looks great. Well I have 8 missions left on Far Cry 3 and in total only 60% complete so far. Trying to do everything and pace the last few missions out a bit but to be honest with myself not sure if I can 100% it.

I completed Far Cry 3 last night. 79% by the time the credits rolled. I done all the missions except the trials and I didn't collect all the collectables. Apart from that everything else was done.

I beat this giant tree thing in Dark Souls 3, kinda reminded me of Gaping Dragon from the first one. Now I'm at a loss for where to head next...that's the problem with playing foreign games on release.  |

I have started Far Cry 4 but think I need a break after completing 3 so soon. So this is the game I am about to play next, had it before but didn't complete it ( hardly touched it in fact )

Thanks Rich! Yeah, I'm not sure I understand it either even knowing all the story from the others  Oh Red Dead Redemption is pretty great! Nothing absolutely amazing in any grand way but there's a lot to do and I think the story and characters are some of Rockstar's best. |
