Just in time too, my left joystick is beginning to think for itself! Remember throwing my old joystick at the wall back in the day to fix that but don't think that would be advisable with the gamepad! XD

To be honest I don't like using the gamepad for playing, much prefer my pro controller.

My battery seems ok, still getting a couple of hours out of a full charge but I've noticed the wee man using it when its connected to the charge wire. Told him that would kill it so might need a new one soon!

Think I had to put my gamepad on charge three times on Sunday, an hours play and whoosh it's gone again. Always have the cable nearby anyway so not that much hassle. Hopefully they sell them separately here. Ashleigh's let her sister borrow her Wii U and she went and lost the gamepad. Unbelievable. How careless can you be, it's the size of the console itself!

I bought the high capacity battery the same time as I got the Wii U such a difference in my opinion it's the battery that should of been shipped with every console the rip off merchants. The Wii U pro controller though, man that has some awesome battery power, last for days at a time without needing charged.

Occasionally thinks left is right and if you're on e-shop or Miiverse if you pull very gently down you scroll up!

You don't need one unless it's something to do with the screen or control buttons. If it's having trouble charging, just get a new battery or charger. I thought my battery went, but infact it was the charger wire that was acting up. Still need a new one. They sell them on amazon for 10 pounds. - a charger for 10 pounds.

Is it a Nintendo charger or just generic? The little hardwares store near me sells generic chargers for £4 but they don't last long.
