My son freaks out when I do. He bought another set just to keep them in the packages. I'm currently on the fence about opening Ganondorf, Bowser Jr., Dr. Mario and 30th Anniversary Mario.  |

Yes. Wish I could afford two (one to open & one to keep sealed) sadly I can't. I open them all unless they are rare and part of their own set like my wooly  and 30th anniversary mario. |

Here in the U.S. some stores host exclusives only dedicated to those stores. Bower Jr. is at Toy R Us only. Dr. Mario is at Target only. Do any other countries do this? I can't stand it. Not only do we not get a great chance of getting all the amiibo, we get less of a chance when 2 or more store only exclusives launch in the same day. It generally means we have to wait in line for the store to open and if two stores with 2 different exclusives open at the same time good luck! Or bribe a family member.

I should also say it depends on what it does. and mario are very rare and do very little. |

I'm wondering this too. Mine is coming in a three pack with Duck Hunt, Game and Watch and R.O.B. I just opened Olimar. Still on the fence about Ganondorf, Dr. Mario and Bowser Jr. I was given direct orders not to open 30th Anniversary Mario.  |

I like the background graphics on the boxes and would like to preserve them more than worry about the rarity of some of them. |

Oh, I used to save every box and manual from my games. Nowadays there's not much point in it because the packaging is so cheap and I can't recall the last time something came with physical instructions

@dig Doug.. YES! My Super Mario Maker came with instructions on how to access the game instructions! Also, my King Dedede amiibo is from Japan and it came with instructions in the bottom. |

I'm not too bothered about keeping them in the box. They are taken care of and used when the wiiU is on. I got pac man a few weeks ago. I also re-arranged my shelves with them.

I open all of them. I adore the packaging but I don't see the point of keeping them stuck up in there. Unless I'm going to give it to someone else as a gift for example.
