Wendybird, if it's going to be like the other Game & Draw, everyone will draw a theme of a game, and then Craig picks two, then the two 'winners' choose the next theme.

Does everyone want that then? Obviously you'd post your entries to miiverse but do you want it to be opened up to everyone?
Any theme ideas I'm open to, I was thinking we could be really creative and draw our own original video game character or game?

I like that idea for a theme!
The winner deciding is a nice incentive to take part however a problem I found with that for G&D was that the winner chose a theme that didn't quite capture the imagination and resulted in a poorly attended next competition. I don't know what else we could offer other than a congratulations?
Next question, how do you think we should decide? Maybe between Doug, Ron, Varvara and I to agree on a winner?

I think I'd prefer to keep it a Weverse contest but obviously let everyone post their entries on miiverse so we can see them.

I'm up for anything. The thing i loved about game and draw was that most of the time i could come up with some really creative ways to mash up the two choices (papeario and kirby's epic yarn, ducktales and nintendo land to mame a couple). I do agree with craig in that it may not have been easy for others to do that. It was maybe to finite, where as broadening the options to say, setting a random theme for the over all picture like a tag line or something. Say for example it was something like: ways to avoid imminent danger! You could mash up anythi g with that. Mario and samus fighting their way out of bowsers castle with ridley and bowser giving chase with loads of enemies around about. That kinda thing. Set a loose theme and come up with anything? I just dont have a functional laptop or computer. I use my phone and it seems really tricky to upload to weverse via phone (if it can even be done?) So that's the only reason i would stick to miiverse. Of course, there is also the added bonus of watching the drawing come to life via youtube timelapses  |
