I agree there peter (even if jules don't like me to do so ) I played it way more than 2 hours with a good bit of help from guides, but it was not easy to know how to follow them. There's no way I would have come as far as I did without some cheating (hate to admit it).

That's why Jules can't finish breath of the wild, he can't find everything he wants to without the help. How long do you think you played it for? After I complete mario and luigi paper jam, if dragon quest 11 hasn't come out by then I'll probably go back to MM3D then. The 3 day thing does pressurise you though, interesting concept but I prefer it like BOTW where you can just take your time to do whatever you want, wherever.

How long...it´s almost 3 years since last time I played Majora´s mask but around 75 % done is my guess. Yep same thing here, pressure is something I can live without . I haven´t tried the MM3D but played it a little on a friends WiiU, cool concept. Who knows what crazy ideas other player have made reality of. I saw some really weird worlds .

WiiU? Probably available as a N64 virtual console title if I remember correctly. I only had Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD on WiiU. Have you played those too?

Ohh, sorry I misunderstood. Thought you meant Mario Maker 3D (MM3D) (maybe it´s not even a 3D-game on the 3DS). No I haven´t played wind waker or twilight princess, but I would like to do so.

It is on 3DS, but I think they stopped having new 3DS games in 3D, only at certain points in the game but it's definitely not around as much anymore. I would have said Super Mario Maker as that's what it's called, MM3D, Majoras Mask 3D. Both of those other zelda games are really good adventures too, loved twilight princess, completed that on wiiu in 2016, but never completed Wind Waker HD although I've always wanted to go back to that one as well. I got Wind Waker HD for free when they were doing this special Mario Kart 8 offer, in which if you bought Mario Kart 8 between it's release in May 2014 and July 31st you could choose a free game to download from a list. Really cool of Nintendo.

A free Zelda-game, awesome gift from Ninty . It will probably never happen again . But wait a minute, wasn´t the zelda-game "four-swords" for free for a while ? I have it on my 3DS and finished it. Have you got that one ?

Yeah Four Swords was available for free as well, might have been as an anniversary celebration if I remember correctly, not sure. I did have it, didn't play it much though and when I transferred my data from my old 3DS to my New 3DS, the Dsi ware games didn't transfer over. I can't remember why, but the dsi ware games just don't seem to come over when doing a system transfer, so it's gone now. Yeah I think Nintendo might just have been trying to boost sales of the WiiU by offering a free game. Only thing I don't like about that, is I have it as a digital game and not as physical, but yeah like I said, want to complete that one too. Skyward Sword...i'll just wait for an updated version , never finished that one either.

A anniversary celebration sounds familiar, I think you´re right there. Okey so the Dsi games won´t be transfered, weird. Maybe Nintendo want´s us to buy all those silly little games again so they can make some money of them...no point of buying a new 3Ds by now anyway I guess, I rather buy I switch instead and keep playing the old 3DS until it breaks apart. Is there any zelda-game you have finished ?

Yeah I've finished Ocarina of Time 3D, Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass(I think), Twilight Princess HD and Breath of the Wild.
I really like the New 3DS, if you get the small one, you can get nice designer face plates for it, or XL one for larger screen. Feels like a mini wiiu gamepad, it's much more capable than the old 3DS.

Allright, well those have I finished, Ocarina of time 3D, Spirit tracks, Phantom hourglass, Link´s awakening DX from -99, Four swords and A link between worlds. Unfinished Zelda´s I have on the 3DS: The legend of Zelda (NES-game from -87), Zelda II from -88, Oracle of seasons, Oracle of ages and The minish cap, + Majora´s mask... Plenty of game-hours left it seems .
Yeah I´ve noticed the cover plate-version, it has some nice motives.
I saw this version of the XL-model.

How sweet is that SNES one? I love it! i was gonna get this one, i loved the snes look. but then i found out it cost nearly as much as the switch. the 3ds was released in 2011 and the hardware was not top of the shelves back then either, and in 2018 it cost more than the release, because plastic is made to look like a snes. the greed is fucking unbelievable..

Well I needed to get a new 3ds anyway, my old 3ds was well....getting old. The circle pad was hard to move, became a bit stiff, it was dented in a side, I must have accidently hit it against something, and there seemed to be a wire showing at the top of the screen section, not that either of those were big problems, but was a good excuse to finally upgrade to an XL version which I had wanted to do for a while. Even though the 3DS is slowing down now, I'm still going to keep playing it for a while. Like I said, i've still got majoras mask to go back to , and the 3DS did have mario party the top 100 release in January this year, so that's fun. And of course we still have Dragon Quest 11 coming to the west. 3DS isn't dead yet. Although pokemon on 3DS is probably done now, I noticed they are giving away legendary pokemon every month to sun and moon players, probably a big final gift to 3DS owners of pokemon before it arrives on Switch. Adde, how was the 2D Zelda games that you finished? I'm not really a fan of the 2D ones, like link's awakening, just feels different to the 3D ones.

Wow Ron, I had no idea they cost that much!! That is an absolute shocker for me but as you say the greed is unbelievable. I feel like they are taking quite a lot of this kind of advice from Apple! It is feckin' sweet but not as much as my actual mini snes!! (well, my sons mini snes!!)

It´s pretty neat, costs around 2000 SEK in sweden. The "normal" versions are cheaper, around 1500 SEK. When the 3DS was released in 2011 it had a price of 2700 SEK before nintendo decided to drop the price to under 2000 SEK and give the people who already had bought it for the old and higher price 20 free download-games from the E-shop. I presume they did so in other countries too ?

Peter- yup sounds like it was about time for you to do an upgrade, . The only problem my old 3Ds are having is the rubber-dot on the circlepad, it´s completly loose and falls of to the floor now and then, I guess I could glue it to the pad but it haven´t happened yet... Yeah Nintendo seems to not have forgotten us 3DS-players yet, pokemon has never been a favourite to me but I have 2 of the free-for-download games and have been playing them for a while so to speak... The older 2Ds-zeldas feels...well, old is the word I guess. But for an old gamer like me it´s not a problem. The awakening was sweet if you ask me. The oldest ones from the NES will I probably never play, I didn´t even like them back in the 80`s.

Rubber dot? Do you mean the circle pad rubber that you use to control actually comes off completely? If so, that's a good reason as any to upgrade to a new 3DS . And yeah I just can't get into the old Zelda games, there's a select few of retro games I like but most retro games don't capture my attention enough for more than 10 minutes. Ron- Yeah I know, but it seems support from Nintendo is slowing down, but I think it's just because releases are spaced out. Mario Party came out in January, the new Kirby 3DS comes out sometime soon, can't remember when, and not sure what's beyond that because I think last time Nintendo revealed 3DS games, it only went up to Spring 2018.
