It depends though, because switch is selling well, more 3rd parties may try to bring over more of their games to the system but because the switch is just under a year on the market, they may not have made significant progress if they've made such plans anyway, so I'm thinking it still might be a while before we see much of that, but hey we'll see. Nintendo always have tricks up for their sleeves for first party, but like I saw on twitter, it has been a while since a 3DS Zelda, although I wish they were in the style of the DS ones rather than this top down look. I know everyone complains now, that some 3DS games they release should go to switch, but I like that they're keeping it going, I don't see why the switch had to mean the definite end for the 3DS like the fans seem to have weirdly come to expect. I for one hope to see a few new 3ds games alongside switch games. We might see a bit of Dragon Quest 11, since that's coming to the west this year. Like craig said, as the kirby switch game is coming and a game, probably those too. I feel like Nintendo have a checklist for games to put on every console , a mario game, a zelda game, a kirby game, a game, a mario kart game, and then when those are done, mario sports games. And maybe some star fox, donkey kong and smash bros on the side.

The ds zelda games were all top down view except they had that god awful stylus control for movement from what I remember pete. I'd love to see another 2d zelda in the works and a 2d mario that maybe incorporated vehicles of some sort... Flying clown car, submarine like sml... Just something to change up the gameplay a bit. Even a mario kart styled bonus level or something would add freshness to nsmb imo.

Well you may be in luck as there are some rumours going round that Nintendo are working on a remake of Links Awakening using the Between Worlds game engine!

Nobody bad mouths Phantom Hourglass and lives. The controls are great you uncultured swine.
And that sounds amazing Doug, I'd dig that.

I loved em. Drawing on the scene made for some real cool unique puzzles. I'd have enjoyed Spirit Tracks too if it weren't for the blowing into the mic.

Lostbhoy- Oh yeah, but I liked that the DS games first had the boat concept, and then spirit tracks with the train. To me, they just seemed more ambitious than the 3DS ones. Craig- Did you like Spirit Tracks besides the mic thing?

You calling Craig willie the groundskeeper from the simpsons? Ooh, fight fight. The Spirit Tracks overworld theme is one of my favourite zelda themes.

Talking of another old zelda-game. Majora´s mask...I have it for the 3DS, do anyone else have it (or the original game purhaps) ? I played it for a long time but got tired of the 3-days interval. It was so annoying to have to go through things over and over again just because you forgot to make a sword in the 3rd day or something else. Maybe that´s only me thinking like that...

Big lover of Majoras Mask. It's by far the most interesting Zelda game. I just love the story, the dark theme. It made a huge impact on me, the final hours, the music, the feeling of impending doom. I would like for Nintendo to make another Zelda like that, something different, away from Hyrule, the princess, Ganon etc. The 3DS version is the best version too, improves on original a lot, far more hints so you don't have to be looking up a guide so often to find a certain mask. I can understand tho, for some, the pressure felt from the clock ticking away can be unnerving and prevent you from taking your time and exploring.

Yep I like the feeling of dooms day coming and the graphic are great. I may start it again some day but there's a big chance I'll have to cheat my way through it.

Same here Adde. Have Majoras Mask on 3DS but only played it a bit. I was actually trying to use a guide to help me through it as I usually do with zelda games but even that's hard to follow because of the 3 day thing . Always meant to go back to it, though I'm just gonna start over from the beginning and as I only played 2 hours of it.
