Hi gang meant to post before now but i havent been feeling well. If you havent heard Miitomo and My Nintendo launch this Thursday in the UK & Americas as well as some other country's. Here is the list from Nintendo Life: "The full list of countries for the Miitomo release is UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, U.S and Canada. As for My Nintendo, it'll arrive 'in the afternoon' of 31st March in the following countries - UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Malta, Greece, Sweden, Estonia, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, U.S, Canada, Mexico and Brazil." Think i'll give the whole miitomo thing a miss really. This place is as sociable as i get, i don't want a characterised facebook app telling me loadsa boring stuff about people i don't know.
I never really got the point of it any way as miiverse was supposed to be the social network for Nintendo and then they decided they didn't want people to be sociable! I do wonder how long it will last...
Anyone know how the Japanese are getting on with it? Tho they are a different breed when it comes to this sort of thing!

 Thanks Lostbhoy. As far as i know its doing really well in Japan. Not sure about it myself. Miiverse was my first foray into social media. Its a shame Nintendo feel need to keep messing with it. |

Japan received an update today with new features including seeing mutual friends and the ability to friend people your friends know. I'd think we will get that same version tomorrow. Expect it "Late in the day" according to Nintendo UK's Twitter. Gosh my joke about it arriving at 23:59 on the 31st could end up being right So, who here will be downloading? |

Old Nokias are immortal! Bet that thing lasts 2 weeks without charge, battery is one downside of smartphones.

I never use the thing cept to make the odd text or take a pic, and very rarely phone anyone. When it's not being used for anything at all i'll get 5 days, tops. |

I may end up checkin it out but here's a thing.... Is it an actual social network app, ie are we free to chat about whatever, friend rooms n stuff and if so, will it affect activity here do you think?? (if its popular ofcourse!)
