Couldn't find the previous thread so i made this. We can merge them later. Like what i hear in the second rumor.
Rumor 1: From Nintendo Everything.
On Monday, NeoGAF user “Trevelyan9999” posted alleged details regarding NX and Nintendo’s lineup for 2016. I usually tend to be skeptical when it comes to rumors from sources that I’m unfamiliar with or aren’t widely known, so I held off on sharing that on the site. However, new information has since come to light indicating that Trevelyan9999 may have been spot on.
Let’s go over the actual information first. Here’s a look at everything that was posted:
– Zelda Wii U will also be available for NX
– Zelda NX to be a holiday 2016 release either same day as Zelda Wii U or shortly after during the Nintendo NX holiday 2016 launch window
– Nintendo NX launch games for 2016 besides Zelda NX and marketing focus remain hidden for now
– Wii U $34.5 million marketing budget for 2016 total – Zelda Wii U has $10 million with the possibility of the funding being switched to Zelda NX version depending on launch timing in 2016.
– 3DS $56.25 million marketing budget for 2016 total
3DS release list 2016 *Funded by Nintendo only*:
Spring-Early Summer
Mario and Sonic Rio 2016
Nintendo Selects Wave 1
Hyrule Warriors Legends
Disney Art Academy
Bravely Second
Code Name: “Caviar F” (all ages smaller budget game)
Metroid Prime: Federation Force
Summer
Code name: “Torte City” big budget unannounced game for all gamers core/all ages
Dragon Quest VII
Code name: “Cadillac” (all ages smaller budget game late summer)
Fall-Holiday
3DS Hardware Price Cut
Code name: “N-Stars” big budget game for all ages
Nintendo Selects Wave 2
Code name: “DMW2” possibly Disney Magical World 2
Dragon Quest VIII
Pokémon 20th Anniversary game “Niji” – note: now confirmed as Sun/Moon
More evidence of Disney Art Academy surfaced soon after Trevelyan9999’s post was made. Then on top of that, logo assets sent out by The Pokemon Company for today’s Sun and Moon announcement actually had the names “Niji_A” and “Niji_B”. And for what it’s worth, Trevelyan9999’s source was verified by the NeoGAF moderating team.
It’s worth mentioning that Trevelyan9999 seems to have basically disappeared within the past couple of days. He deleted several videos on his YouTube channel covering his original claims, along with articles from his own website.
So what we have here is definitely interesting. Does it mean everything is true? Certainly not. As always, you should take any unverified information with a grain of salt. That being said, there is reason to believe that Trevelyan9999’s claims shouldn’t be immediately dismissed.

Rumor 2: From Destructoid.
From a leaker with history of truthful leaks
While any rumours before an official announcement should be taken with a major grain of salt, a new batch of Nintendo NX hardware rumours are doing the rounds from a source who has leaked correct information in the past.
Geno, who has previously leaked new Pokémon forms and Microsoft's Illumiroom project, spoke to Dual Pixels and dropped a large amount of supposed hardware information about Nintendo's upcoming hardware.
While this could all be a bunch of rubbish, the info is all included below. For what it's worth, much of this info does line up with information I have heard from a separate source.
The NX has a wireless HDMI dongle that attaches flush to the back of the device.
You can pull it out and insert it into any display with a normal sized HDMI output.
NX uses an evolved version of the Wii U’s streaming tech to display in HD on the TV screen.
Analog controls for movement have small motors in them for full haptic feedback. If you control a character and hit a wall, the sticks
move away from the wall to simulate hitting it.
Bluetooth synch with tons of devices, including smartphones and tablets.
You can answer phone calls and display text messages from your phone onto NX screen(s).
Closest in terms of hardware spec to the Xbox One.
All tech uses the exact same hardware layout as the PS4 and Xbox One.
Any game that can run on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can easily run on the NX with near-zero modifications.
This is even more true if the game runs on Android OS or Unreal Engine 4.
One 3rd Party dev says “It’s the easiest device we’ve ever developed for. You just take your code, compile it and it works."
Look to Pokémon Go to get an idea of the type of social features that will be in NX.
Strengths of the device are its usability and ease of use.
Operating system, named NintendOS, is very powerful and has so many modern features of mobile operating systems.
Nintendo is trying to be very careful in showing it off for fear that it would be mistaken as running Android.
Very strong networking functions, as it ties into multiple devices and services.
This allows for a very competent and pervasive eco-system designed to constantly involve the consumer’s life.
While this information is all unofficial and unconfirmed, it would line up with a lot of the industry rumblings about the NX.
