I dunno, i think these changes sound promising. Just need to wait and see really.

Big year for Nintendo, lets see what they got!! just tie everything you buy ( games,dlc,etc ) to your NNID rather than one console and you will make devoted fans happy. Cant be hard.....can it?

Apparently the belief is the NNID will be done away with entirely. Except on Wiiu & 3DS. Well according to Nintendo Life anyway.

What I'm thinking is that NNID isn't capable in the background of doing what is needed for linking to account and not console, I'm guessing somewhere in its coding it's linked to a console. Pairing that with the new Ninacc (as I shall call it from now on) seems like a workaround to get over that issue. Otherwise why create a new name and password? |

very interesting indeed(i'll leave this here for notifications) I hope if they do away with nnid being used they still protect them ns d not allow others to use my id, cause whatever "new" system/service comes down the (warp)pipe I'd like to use my nnid
