That's assuming that the NX was going to be branded as Wii, which I highly doubt.

He also, despite being a business man, does think that running a gaming business like Nintendo should not be done on "numbers alone" and that Iwata hasn't given him any instructions. Also they were going for someone young but they couldn't find anyone, and that he wouldn't mind someone out of Nintendo leading the charge at some point.

Yeah I read about that too. Maybe they need a year to convince Sakurai to take the job? Or they need the time because Yakuza is in turmoil at the moment?
I've read many times that Nintendo's had many inside power struggles throughout the last few years. Maybe this decision was made to ease the situation.
I think he's smart enough to keep the ship on course, whatever the course is.

I miss calling my mom collect to come pick me up cause I had no money for the payphone! You could do it for free if you timed it right. When they ask you your name you say, "MomImatthemoviescomepickmeup", so when the call went through and asked if she'd accept the charges from Momimatthemoviescomepickmeup she'd say no and then could get me, if she wanted or could. If I had to loiter for longer than an hour I just walked, but still something that doesn't get to happen anymore

I'm looking forward for this, the man made promotion after promotion so I think he can be great for Nintendo to get things on the rails now.

Doesn't he look like fun? No matter who it was they will simply not be as good as they don't have the passion or know what the people want. Some people think ninetendo is rubbish and some love ninetendo. What I mean by this is that some people expect ninetendo to adapt to the market and sell and make games like sony or Microsoft. If they do that they will not be a individual market for Nintendo or there games. I will loose interest if they do as I like the art and whimsical games they create. I think this president needs to understand that or he will loose a lot of money and support as that one of the reasons people love ninetendo. The other main reason is that ninetendo is a family friendly gaming market. Which means that everyone in the family can have a go and help each other. This is just my opinion, thanks for listening:D
